About the Artist & C.V. על האומנית וקורות חיים
Deborah Spinner
The many blessings of everyday life here in Israel—color & form found in our surroundings and especially of late on the Mediterranean Seashore launch my paintings.
The feeling that we are “living a miracle” after 2,000 years of being scattered throughout the Diaspora never escapes me. Often Jewish texts, the form of Hebrew letters, family scenes and everyday events inspire my work.
The blues, the sea and the story of Creation and are all within reach.
